The cream tea was criticized for being overpriced, but the afternoon tea for two was praised for its generous portions and excellent service. The tearoom's setting in an old building with lovely views was highlighted positively. Some customers had issues with the tearoom being closed without notice or receiving a response to inquiries, while others had a delightful experience with attentive staff and delicious food. Overall, the tearoom's unique charm and tasty offerings left a lasting impression on visitors.
Tiny but wonderful. Tasty, well presented food and drinks. Lovely views across the valley. As it's an old building it's access down a very steep winding staircase is very difficult for the less able bodied. If you can manage it though, it's definitely worth the effort.
Yesterday with my parents came here for the afternoon. what a beautiful place to relax and enjoy each other! the afternoon was £15 per person and had to be booked in advance (which was very easy on the website / email. the tee room was nice and warm on a cold day outside! the only thing I would warn about is that the stairs to the tee room are an old spiral staircase that is easiest if they have mobility problems. there is not much what the tee room can do, because the building is old and a part of the railway next door. the personal was extraordinary. friendly, attentive (but not excessively so, and very happy to take care of us. the tee itself was wonderful and very good value for money. there was so much when we had to take the chocolate cake home! all sandwiches were well made, and the skorne were homemade and very tasty. we were asked if we have allergies (which is always good to see! and we are presented with a large list of tea options. there was absolutely no hurry to go for us, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. we will definitely thank you for a wonderful time!
Well worth the visit, I've upset my wife by saying I've just eaten the best skorones with my cream tea ever. they make a great choice of tees, personally do they a house tee to use the hard water of bridgenorth and wow it worked we have the same problem, so bought a bag . don't let them sit down by the incoming spiral stairs. enjoy
Beautiful hot chocolate! Quirky tea room, great staff, no good if you can't make any steps! great view of the wind gear of the stall railway .. sun terrace on the back. worth a visit. we had a orphaned abduction there on the day of our visit! rspb reported and kidnapped to be taken together again with his brothers and sisters, all found in and around the railway!
