What Guyswife doesn't like about The Red Lion:
Well, that was not a good Curry. It was more like a tomato sauce with a few prawns thrown in, no vegetables and very little taste of curry. The rice was ok, but then it was just rice. Wouldn’t go there again in a hurry. View all feedback.
Beautiful village pub with a good choice of drinks and a decent menu Excellent service.
Excellent food. This was a cut above what you would expect. The kitchen crew knows what they are doing. Front of house staff also efficient and friendly.
Had a lovely meal, with very friendly staff for quite a reasonable price
This was the most pleasant 'ALL ROUND EXPERIENCE ' we 've had in a pub for such a long time. Most importantly, you may not agree, the staff, who can make or break any evening out, made our night. It was such a pleasure to be served by people who made our experience so enjoyable. Can 't thank them enough.....Oh the food was very good too so well done in the kitchen.........
They have a new menu since the last time I went, still lots of great food choices. I had a new burger which was really tasty and filling. I added another burger to it. Food came out quick even though the pub was over half full, great choice of drinks. Friendly staff.
