a great place to see many aircraft from many epochen. the entry card is free with a parking fee of £5. indoor and outdoor clothing, interactive cockpits and simulators. small caffe in the visitor center along with toilets and a mobility roller loan. many parking spaces are available, although I would recommend booking an early time slot as it will busier as the day goes on. Cosford is an amazing place to visit. give them a lot of time for the showers, shop also has some great pieces. was here for the air show 12.06.22, and it was well organized and a really good day out. On the bottom, you try to get out, seriously you need to talk a little better. but if they wait, open the back tor near the bridge x
Great place for a day outside, love the new play area to entertain children charge of airplanes with information and phones to hear speech messages. only on the bottom was something else interactive that was there before they were removed. would be nice to see in a few more airplanes as my children enjoyed seeing inside. all in a big day outside only for parking.
I absolutely recommend going. This place is perfect for both families with children or as a place to go with your friends. It’s a fairly large area, therefore I recommend coming in early hours to avoid stress of missing out. There is a café located inside which also provides meals during lunch time. The entrance to this place is free, however I encourage you to donate money, because this place truly deserves it. We were lucky to arrive on a sunny day, so we tried the ice cream truck and boy was it worth the money and the wait! There is a lot of information provided not only on the planes, RAF and british army, but also insight into the history and culture of britain and other countries which participated in ww2. Incredible place, we will definitely come back. Thank you!
Absolutely a must see site! Soo many planes with facts and stories to see and read dated back decades. This was our first time visit with my partner and 3 children and have been meaning to go ever since and I'm so glad I did now as I walked away with an experience I would never forget. And that I've recommended to my family friends to visit.
