We booked on line and the system worked well. On arrival we were shown to our table and given menus. We ordered drinks and were pleased with the great choice of local beers. Two members of our party ordered the Thai Crispy Chilli Beef with fries instead of chips. They agreed it was excellent but couldn’t finish the generous portion. Fortunately they were happy to package up the leftovers so we could take them away. M... View all feedback.
What Jennifer E doesn't like about The Fox And Hounds:
The food was a bit hit and miss My mum had a starter, which was pork belly, she said it was very tender and tasty. For the mains, my mum and me had the Thai crispy chilli beef. It was very chewy and very sweet. I had chips, but they were thick and tasted of potato, not chips. My mum had rice, it was too soft. However, the salad was fresh and tasty, it had a nice dressing on it. We had roulade for a sweet. It was very... View all feedback.
The food and service were amazing at this restaurant. I had soup, turkey stroganoff, and cheesecake, all of which were deliciously presented. The service was friendly and attentive. The only downside was the excessive noise level, making it difficult to hear and hold a conversation. Despite this, the food and service were exceptional, and I would consider coming back for another try. However, the noise did detract from the overall dining experience, especially if you are looking for a special meal.
I was extremely impressed with the spacious car park and wheelchair accessibility at this restaurant, as I am disabled. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the meal was excellent. The dessert was also delicious. Although I have forgotten the name of our waitress (as she is new), she was interactive and made my friend's birthday celebration even more special. I highly recommend this venue and will definitely be returning in the future.
We enjoyed our experience so much that we dined at this restaurant twice in just 2 days! Our Saturday evening meal was good, but the Sunday lunch exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend trying the Sunday lunch, as the portion size is generous and the dishes are very tasty. The desserts we tried were all fantastic as well. This is a wonderful restaurant that is also dog-friendly.

It tasted like lemon curd inside, the ice cream was tasty. It was a disappointment but the service was good and the restaurant had a good atmosphere
We were greeted and seated straight away and the service was excellent throughout. The Roast was highly recommended and the puddings fabulous
