Description

Rashers, located conveniently next to Alan Ward, offers a surprisingly reasonably priced menu with a variety of options from breakfast to sandwiches and paninis, making it worth a visit. While some diners found the food to be greasy and not up to par, others have been loyal customers for years, noting occasional inconsistencies. The cafe boasts a bright, clean atmosphere with friendly staff and good food overall. With options for takeout and delivery, Rashers on Ennerdale Road is a hidden gem worth a try for a satisfying, fair-priced meal where the service is excellent and the breakfasts are highly recommended.

Visited before mammoth shopping day. Excellent location with parking, plus indoor/outside seating. Very popular in this area of town. Great menu choices for breakfast and lunch options. Delivery service which is free for orders over £10. Highly recommend the Breakfast Brunch which includes a hot drink. A cup of tea/coffee is only £1.00 in comparison to the 'costly ' coffee shops.

Overall, the restaurant was not impressive. The food was greasy, particularly the sausages which tasted mostly like bread. The toast was not cooked enough and lacked any browning.

I was excited to try this restaurant, which is independent and located in the local industrial/retail area. The staff were friendly and efficient. I ordered the Brunch which included bacon, sausage, egg, beans, chips, bread, and butter. The cafe was not very busy, so I was expecting hot, freshly cooked food. However, everything except the fried egg was lukewarm and the bacon was hard as a rock. It was a disappointment. I may have just been unlucky, but in this industry, every meal needs to be almost perfect to encourage repeat business. I wish the staff well, but I will not be returning.
