The bacon butties are great. It can get very busy during weekends and holidays, but there is plenty of parking and lots of nice walks, especially for dog lovers. The cafe offers a wide variety of snacks and drinks.
We stopped for a coffee after a walk in the woods. I had a toasted bagel with cream cheese, my partner had a toasted sandwich. Both were lovely and delivered to our picnic table with a smile! Reasonable prices. Can't ask for more.
We enjoyed a lovely walk and finished at the café. The blueberry and white chocolate cake was amazing, and the staff were very friendly.
As a gluten-free diner, I had concerns about receiving a dry cake, as that is often the norm for me. But to my surprise, I was very pleased with my white chocolate and blueberry cake - it was absolutely delicious! I am excited to enjoy more cakes (oops, I mean walks) in the future.
This is ok after a walk around the Haughmond Hill, a good cuppa at a reasonable price, staff friendly.
