I always return to this restaurant whenever I crave something unique and affordable. The ambiance is inviting and the staff is friendly. My go-to dish is the Singapore Chowmein, which is savory, spicy, and my favorite on the menu. It may take a while to prepare, but it is always worth the wait. I will definitely be returning. What JanandRay J doesn't like about Mings House:
Used Mings House for years was ok until the last two curries were a layer of beef in the bottom of the foil tray a curry sauce just spooned on the top.The curry didn 't even touch most of the beef.Have also had spare ribs overcooked inedible which were taken back.Loved this place, but not now.It 's a shame when you pay good money only to be dissapointed when you get home View all feedback.
We’ve been using Mings as our go to Chinese Takeaway for years now. We have our favourite dishes and we generally stick to these. We’ve never been let down and enjoy what we choose. We’ve looked at some of the negative reviews and being honest we don’t recognise the same place. We always give credit where it’s due. Mings is our favourite take away and as long as it stays the same it will always be so.
Fantastic quality food at reasonable prices. Always served very hot and great consistency. The spare ribs are great, the special fried rice is great, the fruity Cantonese chicken is super.
I’ve had quite a few chinese takeaways (since moving here in June) from the various local Chineses’ but this one is by far the best. It is always fresh has great portion sizes.

I have always rated Mings House as 5 Star, and Fantastic Food, what a Shame it has now come to this!, After a Long day travelling from Devon to Market Drayton we Didn't want to cook a meal when we arrived home, so we ordered a Meal from Mings House In Market Drayton, we only wanted to eat light as we were tired so we ordered Simple, Boiled rice, Chips and Curry Sauce I Know... Not Exactly Chinese) but always Good in the Past, *Chips Stone cold, Hard, Over cooked, Looked to be left overs from Night before. *Curry Sauce Extra Thick, Stone Cold *Boiled Rice FAR TOO STICKY and Again... COLD. I also ordered 2 Banana Fritters, Always Good in The Past) This Time they were cooked Perfectly, BUT... No golden syrup Missing), and Sadly when cut open the Bananas were BAD and Smelt off. 2 Young People behind the counter, One young lady taking the walk in orders and Phone Orders She was very Polite, and Friendly, The other Young Lad Playing on his Tablet, Looked up and grunted and to make things even worse... sneezed in his hand then wiped it on his sleeve, then touched the door handle to the Kitchen area, SAME DOOR HANDLE THEY TOUCH TO COLLECT YOUR BAG OF FOOD WHEN THE BELL RINGS. DISGUSTING !!!!! It is a Shame, i have always used Mings House for Chinese Takeaways But i will now go else where in Market Drayton.
