Mahim Indian Take Away - Shropshire

This Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury never disappoints. The food is always delivered hot and the curry dishes are consistently tasty. We always order the chicken Balti and chicken sagwala and highly recommend the consistent quality of this place.

With very few dinner options in the village, I decided to try this place. What a pleasant surprise! I'm almost sad I don't live nearby. Lovely service, absolutely smashing food and at great value! I ordered a Biryani, thinking it's an all in one dish for a quick meal, but I got so much more! There were veggies in a delicious sauce, a side salad, a dip, onions served separately (so considerate! and complimentary giant popadom! I thought my local Indian was good, but it has nothing on these guys! If I'm ever in the area again, I know where I'll eat!

There were 12 of us travelling to stay in an airbnb near Shrewsbury we had many dietary requirements gluten free vegan dairy and gluten intolerant and fussy eaters! So I contacted Raj at the Mahim to check if they were prepared to cater for us and deliver the food to the tiny little village where we were staying near Shrewsbury. After a chat with Raj, I emailed the order and he was extremely reassuring sorted out all the different dishes and I thought the total cost was excellent for such a big order! There were no problems, the food arrived bang on time, piping hot and everybody was very happy with their dishes, and there was an abundance, with left overs being carried home with people the next day! A huge thank you to Raj and the team, brilliant service!
