Reviewed before and five circles this time for an excellent experience. Good table in plush surroundings and very good service. BYO works well for us, I didn't pay but I'm pretty sure that despite the glasses for the water and different glasses for our alcohol, there was no corkage fee. Shared two curries, both superb, the Dansak and the Chicken Tikka Sag Special. View all feedback.
What B1074BRannet doesn't like about Jaipur Indian Bangladeshi Cuisine:
Busy Saturday. Restaurant full, you must book if you want a Saturday. Everyone arrived at 7/730 so too busy. Waited one and a half hours for our main course. Asked for water/ never arrived. You can take your own booze which helps. Food ok. Portions a bit small of rice. But basically it’s the slow service that lets it down on a Saturday, so if you go then prepare to wait and wait and wait. View all feedback.
This restaurant is fantastic! The welcoming atmosphere is always warm, and the place is kept lovely and clean. There's a great variety on the menu, and the food is absolutely wonderful. It's definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in Shropshire!
Jaipur Restaurant consistently serves top-quality, delicious, and authentic curries. I can personally attest to their reliability, as we have been loyal customers for many years. I haven't encountered another Indian restaurant that matches the level of their food, which features fresh spices, ingredients, and vegetables in every dish. The chicken dishes are always tender at Jaipur, and we have yet to find an Indian restaurant that can rival their consistent food quality. Additionally, we appreciate the friendliness and warmth of the staff and manager, Sam, who always take the time to engage with customers during our visits.
We had an incredible meal and a wonderful evening. The staff were exceptional—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delightful, from the poppadoms all the way to the frozen desserts. Bringing your own wine also helps keep costs down, although the food prices are quite reasonable as well. We made the trip from Devon to visit a friend in Church Stretton, and if Jaipur were closer to us, we would definitely be regular customers. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Very busy on Saturday nights do tip us book a table before by phone, they were turning people away who just popped up. Food good but service is often slow when they are so busy. Take your own booze which helps cost. £20 each including a tip. Food very good.
