We love the Coleham Tap. It’s a great Riverside Pub and in our opinion, taking everything into account, the best in Shrewsbury and the surrounding area. Service is always excellent and engaging and the food is good especially the chips. Pizzas are also very good. It’s great outdoors in the summer and cosy inside in the winter. What Underthebed doesn't like about Coleham Tap:
I kind of agree with most of the positive reviews, but there is a huge negative for me, although easily fixable. When they renamed it the Coleham Tap, I imagined a decent selection of craft beers and Lagers, but was very surprised to only have a choice of one ale (Sunbeam I think ? which wasn’t very good. There are some wonderful Ales in Shropshire, and if this continues to be the only choice it will certainly reduce... View all feedback.
A beautiful place, rather inconceivable front, but great inside and back. ok selection of beer, friendly staff, we come back and eat to tell about the food.
Since the change of management when visiting shrewsbury they are already here a few times and have found it as a really warm and welcoming place. the staff is always very friendly and the food was really good and cheap. not to mention the beautiful location at the river! beautiful. definitely worth a visit!
This is quickly the best bar in the city the best place, while away a summer afternoon with views of the river enjoy crumb cold camp and eat. the manager is now a year or two there and it is from strength to strength gone I can not recommend it very enough!
We love to visit the crown, luke and his team are always on hand to offer a great atmosphere. it is a real advantage for the community and to round it off, is the clot on the river, which is beautiful to sit outside and watch how the world passes. Eating and drinks are a good quality and good price.
Second visit to the crown for Sunday lunch and again not disappointed. Beef lovely and tender. Vegetables fresh and everything steaming hot. Serving staff very pleasant. Well done . Your hard work pays off .
