Description

This quaint café offers a blend of charm and challenge. While many patrons rave about the excellent coffee and generous portions, particularly the homemade lemon cheesecake and avocado toast, some experiences tell a different story. A lack of customer restroom access and long waits for food have left a few disappointed. Despite occasional service snags, the friendly staff are frequently praised for their helpfulness. Most customers leave satisfied, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and tasty offerings at reasonable prices. Overall, the café remains a popular spot for both locals and visitors seeking a comforting meal amid a few hiccups.

Little coffee shop. Nice lattes and the gluten free citrus cake was gorgeous- I am a gluten eater but highly recommend it. Pity they don’t have a customer toilet. Very friendly.

Four of us went in for lunch. This is a small cafe but very comfortable and with well spaced tables. We had a variety of food, a brunch, a bagel, eggs on toast, and a toasted sandwich. All was excellent quality, generous portions, and piping hot. The teapot for two was enormous! There’s a variety of teas and coffees available, and cold drinks too. The lemon cheesecake and ice cream I had for pudding was the best I’ve ever tasted! So lemony. Obviously homemade not bought in. Altogether everything was faultless. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and welcoming environment. Very highly recommended.

We called in here on Saturday in the middle of a walk. We took the last table and were told that there would be a wait for food, which was not an issue. We had two very good coffees and within a very reasonable waiting time our food arrived which was very good. I also then had a piece of an unusual, but very delicious apricot cake, which I really enjoyed. Very good value and a nice clean place to eat that looks to be very popular with locals.

A charming café with great coffee and service, but the paninis were bland and lacking in fillings. Priced at £4.95 each, we felt disappointed with the overall value. When we mentioned our dissatisfaction to the server, she just giggled, leaving us feeling like we had been overcharged. For a total bill of £17, we expected more quality and quantity. Sadly, we will not be returning.
