Bishops Castle Delight - Shropshire

Nice takeaway for a quick tea and really well priced compared to similar places elsewhere in the country. The only thing which could have been nicer were the chips.

One person in our group enjoyed their chips, saying they were excellent. The rest of us ordered fish and chips and were also pleased. I opted for a shish kebab and it was delicious! The meat was tender and melted in my mouth, paired perfectly with a fresh salad. It was such a delightful surprise.

Family chippy tea, large cod, 5 chicken bites, large chips, curry sauce, burger chips with gravy. All very nice, cod was freshly cooked, lovely flaky fish with very nice batter, chips were excellent, rest of food very nice according to the recipients. Keep up the good work guys.

We weren’t happy with the quality of the food the first time we went, but we thought we would give them another try, shouldn’t have bothered, small portions which wouldn’t have been a problem if the quality was good, we had the fried chicken eight pieces and fries , chips were okay but the quantity was very poor, not enough for two , as for the chicken it was soggy not crispy but very rubbery we only ate two pieces, it was awful, a total waste of £13 or so , sorry we will not be going back, it’s up to you if you want to try it it , put for us once bitten well twice shy third time never again
