Bakehouse Cafe - Shropshire

I visited the restaurant today and ordered some food. The staff were pleasant and friendly. My wife had the cheese bags and jacket potatoes, she said the bake was nice but the jacket potato had no butter and was dry. My steak pie and chips were rock hard so I returned it. My wife wanted to eat at the same time but I insisted on returning my meal. The server mentioned they had a new microwave and needed to get used to the timings. Despite having eaten at the restaurant before without any issues, I was disappointed with the current experience. I wondered why people were still eating at Wetherspoons. I had a small breakfast with white coffee at this restaurant. The egg was overcooked, the beans, sausages, and brown sauce were low quality, and the coffee was terrible. The atmosphere seemed homey but was actually unappealing. I also had to listen to two women chatting loudly, one of whom was very annoying. The lack of individual menus, shared tables, and cash-only payment system were not ideal either. Overall, not a great experience.

Super friendly staff and really good price for the amount of food they get. the food was also very nice. could not recommend this place enough!

I discovered this charming café on the main street. The breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of special options to choose from. The staff was friendly, and we definitely plan on returning.

Found this small cafe by chance just off the high street.Some interesting choices on the specials board including faggotts and hot pot that you don’t see so much now.Staff were efficient though not overly friendly other than to the locals.No toilets on the premises,but good...food at a decent price.I enjoyed my meal.
