Had an amazing stay. Martin who was in the car park helping with parking was warm friendly and welcoming. Walking through the doors to all the festive decorations was beautiful. Luke booked us our room, arranged our dinner reservation and was truly fabulous. Dinner was excellent with very helpful staff. The room was lovely with attention to detail. Breakfast excellent and Luke as professional as ever checked we were... View all feedback.
What Maurice Bédard doesn't like about Mytton & Mermaid:
the meatcake was amazing. the sink carving fine, but no veg! the personal was brilliant and charming. our two-bedded room in the stable block was the price-performance ratio regarding the good choice for the breakfast included in the price) and in the room good tea selection, coffee, full care products such as shampoo etc. hand towels, bed linen etc. carpet must be renewed as it is very stained. painting especially a... Limited menu and they didn't have any more choice. sullen waitress. second rate to a high time they were. I wouldn't go back.
The service was very good, but eating was not visited with earlier. the menu choice was not particularly stimulating, and my father commented that his steak was pretty hard and dry. Unfortunately, our little party was sitting by three right next to a big party that was rather rough - no critique on them, but a quiet spot would have been appreciated.
Cheap brot, thick double boiled with hard speck on the club sandwich. massive thick lumps ham and burnt chips on the sink and chips. long-term ignored by the employees. in fairness, the main courses were deducted after complaining from the bill, but at this time our lunch was completely ruined.
Excellent eating, appetizers were just the right size, mains were on the big size, but well cooked and well presented service was great and quite sppedy as well as prices were reasonably completely recommended
The location was ideal just beside the River Severn. Opposite a National Trust site Attingham Park. The dining area was spacious and had a nice feeling. The food was very good, however I would prefer my food served on plates, for example the starter was served on a slate tile, the rest of the servings were on plates? The Chips although very good were served in a metal miniature pail just put them onto the plate please. The STEAK was Excellent and cooked to Perfection. The other moan I have is the menus were photocopied papers rather than in folders. However I would definitely book again as the quality of Service and Food was very good and at a reasonable price. I would also reccommend it to others.
