Great pub, and a good size. Inside is exceptionally smart, beams, exposed brick work and so on. A huge selection of food when we got there, a tough choice!! We chose wisely, as the food was ... superb in every way, decent portions with out being massive, the Guinness was spot on as well. They have a childrens menu (you need to ask), mid week it was busy, so worth booking. We had to check the bill, because it seemed too cheap for food of that quality, it was right. under 60 pounds for 3 drinks, 3 x mains (1 childrens menu) and starters. Excellent value and stunning quality.

We were here for a funeral lunch as we were a fortnight ago and the food was delicious, friendly and pleasant staff. Service: 4 Location: 4

My wife had chilli which was nothing like she had ever had before. My ham and eggs were good. Staff were not very welcoming. Not a lot of atmosphere. Won't hurry back. Service: 3 Location: 4
