What Larry D'Amore doesn't like about Virasat Indian Restaurant:
overpriced curry and under chopped we are usually satisfied with virasat, but the "onion salat" was more wobbly than salat and looked like it had been dropped on the floor. let us hope that they will be back on their usual standard fast View all feedback.
Lots of vegan options, using fresh veggies which is a plus point tasty food and great service.Thank you and will be there soon again
Ate here a couple of weeks ago... great food and very friendly staff, the ladies even bagged up our un eaten food for my lunch the following day
Family party dined during the week. Very disappointed with the dishes. Quite frankly I could have produced more flavorsome dishes by just buying a jar of the indian curry at the supermarket and making it according to the directions on the jar at home. This...is NOT food prepared by a chef or even a competent 2nd cook. The chicken korma was all white ???? and had absolutely no flavour at all. Even the rice was overcooked, so all round basically a waste of money. Additionally they took a longer than normal time to get the dishes to the table, however the staff were very pleasant and tried to make the evening work. This did not translate into the kitchen which make the whole thing very very disappointing. There is too wide a disparity between the dishes served up and the taste of the dishes as they should have been to offer any hope of salvation in the off chance that they had a off night. I would love to say it was a taste sensation and can't wait to go back but not this restaurant. Sorry Virasat.
Usually go to our local which is quite good but decided to try a new place. Booked for 6.30 and can’t understand why its dead. Read the reviews before we arrived and I guarantee if you do like Indian food you definitely need to try...this place. We will definitely be back. The food and service was fantastic.
Called for takeaway on a kid free night. The food was delivered right on time hot and fresh. All dishes were delicious. Tried the Kachumber salad for the first time and this is now a fave. Highly recommend Virasat !!
