Just basic fish and chips to eat on beach with the wife...well-cooked, good quality food at cheap prices. Helpful staff. Decor a bit basic, but absolutely no complaints in terms of food or service.
Can't beat fresh Shark and crispy chips by the sea - purchased takeaway for lunch today - cooked on the spot - then drove to the Safety Bay beach to enjoy the meal. Not bad at all.... recommended.
Crispy crunch mouth watering and fresh, then take your meal to the pond 5 min down the road, and watch the kite surfing, great way to have a family dinner.
If you want some really decent fish and chips then you must try Penguin, I have sampled their food three times this month with various visitors and each have agreed, great chips and fish. We had the hake first off and the assistant added an extra piece to each serve, never had so much fish and delicious, not too fatty. They will serve you with a dollars worth of chips which meant that every chip was eaten instead of half in the bin. next visit my visitors had the crumbed snapper served in a foil container and we had the battered, all eaten and enjoyed. A shame we don't live in the area.
