Fresh, well presented and the chef was happy to fill my bowl exactly how I wanted. Tasty food good options on draught. Clean tables with enough space to enjoy your meal privately as a family whilst still experiencing the atmosphere of a busy restaurant. Rotisserie chicken and ribs are spot on. All in all a very impressive visit to Shirley Harvester

This set the tone for the inconsistent service we experienced throughout the night. At times, it was excellent (our first drinks arrived almost immediately), but other times it was lacking (we had to ask twice for salad bowls, and subsequent drink orders took a long time to arrive). As for the food, it was decent, but the price was more than double that of Hillfield Farm, which is just around the corner—and it certainly wasn’t twice as good! Because of this, I don't see us returning anytime soon.
