Absolutely fantastic little spot! We spent one night in the four-poster rooms and thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was beautiful, the dining and drinks were excellent, and the hospitality was outstanding! It’s definitely worth a visit, and we hope to return someday. View all feedback.
What Da Hen doesn't like about The Wychwood Inn:
This is a pleasant gastro pub that also offers accommodations. While the rooms are somewhat outdated and can be a bit noisy, they are still acceptable. The food is better than typical pub fare, although you can find more upscale options in the Cotswolds. Overall, I would rate the rooms as a 3, the service as a 4, and the location as a 4. We stayed for three nights, with the gasthof as basic for walking in the environment. the room was nice, the bar and the restaurant were both really good as eating. the staff and the management were really welcoming, so everything in all a fantastic stay.
Fantastic birthday break, Prosecco in the bath followed by a stunning meal in front of a roaring fire. Gorgeous big breakfast before another muddy Cotswold walkies. Black pudding to die for! :
Lovely food, great atmosphere well kept ales and a fantastic range of Gins and tonic. Very friendly and attentive staff. We had lunch there and went back the following day for evening meal.
Took my twin sons on their 18th birthday for food and their first "official "pint. Great welcome....fantastic food...good selection of ales all with a nice open fire
Just had fish and chips here for the start of our anniversary celebrations. It was awesome! Fish was to die for and proper chip shop chips! Presentation and service was fab too..highly recommended ..we will be back!
