What Don Everett doesn't like about Sweet Basil:
ordered the fish dinner and the tartar sauce looks like and tastes like egg salad. said something to the waiter and was told it was the vinegar. sorry but that's not believable, vinegar doesn't taste like eggs. View all feedback.
Ordered the stuffed banana peppers off the appetizer menu first. Excellent! Made with Gruber hot sausage. The marinara over angel hair pasta was delicious! I added a meatball and it was really good too. Hubby ordered Atlanticean with crawfish and scallops and Alfredo sauce and he is still raving. Both accompanied with side salad and small loaf homemade bread. Waitress was good but a bit flat. Doesn’t matter-this place is definitely worth trying.
Great burgers on special on Sunday. Katie was a great server!
Ordered dinner for takeout, while staying overnight and it was DELICIOUS!!
Our server Diane T was very efficient and friendly. We had traditional lasagna with a side salad. The salad was fresh with a nice variety of vegetables. The homemade sauce on the lasagna was superb, likely the best I’ve ever had in all my 74 years here on this planet.
The food was decent Italian food. The cocktails leave a lot to be desired though.
