Friday's - Shiner

I stopped for a quick lunch. Fried chicken is good. Okra is cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes and brown gravy were horrible, and absolutely no one cared when I said something. The gravy was burnt and so over-salted it was inedible. I said something about it, and the young lady behind the counter said, We 've been serving that same gravy for years. No, you haven 't because I 've eaten it for years, and it 's NEVER tasted like this. Trust your long-term customers. Hopefully, service gets better, but until then, It 'll be a long time before I come back. So sad. Loved this place...

The restaurant was very dirty. The ladies restroom was filthy!

Don 't bother if you want your food in less than a half hour wait, and probably another 10 minutes or more in line to order or get to the window in the drive thru. Every time I go it 's at least 30 minutes sometimes 40-45. Nobody in any hurry to do anything. I called in an order at 4:04 pm to pick up at 5:15-20, got there and they hadn 't put it in and it was 5:40 when they took my order a second time. I didn 't get my 12 bockalo wings and fries and tea until 6:15, had to get my own tea and they didn 't even put any sugar in the sweet tea pot... Service is non-existent anymore, Fridays is off my list, done with them! This happens every time I 'm foolish enough to try them. DONE!

Waited about 15-20 minutes while it was empty and took the food to-go ,the food was a little cold when we sat down to eat it though (our place is about a 2 minute drive away so no ,it did not get cold in the car) We got gizzards and chicken and they weren’t bad but the chicken could’ve used more seasoning ,but they did fulfill our request for spicy gizzards! The employees were very sweet and chatted with us while the cook was making our food and gave us information about the area. There were many options to pick from , but we kept what we got limited. It is good if you want a cheap meal with $10 or less though!
