Beautifully done out and spotless. We picked from the Pub Classics which has any 2 for £19.95 Wednesday-Friday 11.30am to 5.oopm. I had the Beef and Ale Pie, with GREAT CHIPS and mushy peas . and my wife had the Leek Onion Pudding cheese broth with fresh vegetables .Both the meals were large portions which we couldn't finish off ,but not for the lack of trying. The service we received was spot on taking our drinks order, then giving us another 5 mins to make sure we were ready to order our food. The only downside could be if you visit and it's busy, you may find it hard to park. It was quiet when we visited, so we had no issues with the parking. Service: 5 Location: 4
Meal was excellent with fantastic service, meal prices were reasonable. Bar prices expensive. Room was small and very tired, needed a revamp. Parking on the road only. Close to bus stops and a lovely riverside walk into Durham. Rooms: 3 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet
Great place to stay and lovely friendly staff. Fantastic home cooked food, for young and old. As an olde pub stairs to rooms are quite steep so it really suitable for wheelchair users but otherwise well worth a visit. Highly recommended Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Kid-friendly, Great value

Had a meal here yesterday with my husband and 10 year old son. I have to say the service and food was amazing. It was a lovely atmosphere, nice quiet pub meal with lots of the old features of the pub preserved. The lady who served us was slfantastic with her service, very friendly and willing to help, Thank You. The food was perfect, home cooked chips that literally melted in the mouth. A burger that was what I can honestly say A real burger , my son had the cod and chips and he said they were fantastic and for once he couldn 't quite finish, the same as me, whereas usually he eats all his and starts with mine. Despite not finishing our main course of course we had to sample the dessert, I had sticky toffee pudding, and my son ate the brownie both were delicious, fantastic servings. The Seven Stars isn 't a pub I have heard of before but we decided to pay a visit after winning a voucher for £30 off at another pub. I can 't say I 'm disappointed it was well worth the visit and I will be returning at some point. Sorry I got no picture of theaim course it smelt too good to stop to take photos. Thanks for the awesome food and great service. Food drinks: Second to none, fantastic food and well worth the price. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Quiet, Kid-friendly
