I was surprised that I could get 5 pieces of sushi with soba or udon for 650 yen, but the fish was fresh and the soba broth was delicious, making it very cost-effective. The chawanmushi was a bit pricey at 420 yen, but it was a generous portion with plenty of shrimp and scallops inside, and the flavor was excellent. The sushi set for 1.5 people was a good deal at 1,000 yen, with a hearty portion and miso soup included, perfect for men. The rice in the sushi was a bit firm, and the soba noodles could have been more authentic, which were slight downsides. However, considering the low price, it was acceptable. If you're looking for a good value sushi option, definitely give this place a try. I will make sure to visit again next time I'm in Minamishimabara City for business.
