Ate here on the recommendation of the Monocle guide to Tokyo. [Relatively] good value on the multi-course menu. Unexpectedly serene location in the middle of a busy area. Excellent experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Eatrip:
The atmosphere is nice and peaceful but the tables for two were too close each other, so but too noisy from the neighbors’ conversations. If you are the group, then you might get a bigger space and would be nice. The food were delicious if you like a simple and plain meal: very “organic”. View all feedback.
The atmosphere and ambience was really nice and cozy, perfect place for having romantic dinner and girls out day 1.As other comments said the service is not bad, but “reactions from a some staff members seem outright weird and awkwardly robotic” couldn’t be agree more. If they put some smile on customer would be so much better. 2. Not really satisfied with the food. I understand you pay the ambience but realize we paid around 10.000 for dinner set 2 alcohol drink per person and got many tiny slices of veggie 1 slice of fish 2 slices of pork meat desert is something not worthed. 3. Somehow doesn’t like how they put away the glass so fast after it gets empty and without asking a permission like “おさげしていいですか“。In Japan it will be counted as not polite after all, realizing this kind of place is not the only one you can find in Tokyo, thinking if they can upgrade the amount of food service, it would be perfect.
The best atmosphere for dinner!! We had a paring corse and everything was fantastic!! I really enjoyed everything we had and the course was just right amount for me to be able to enjoy the dessert as well. The staff are super friendly and they gave us good food presentation as well: They use local organic ingredients. I loved all the details of interior too! Very much looking forward to going back again!
Borderline decent food for the price, but decent enough to support great atmosphere of a little Tokyo hideaway. Enjoy the beautiful decor, but don’t expect much of food or service. All the dishes lack cohesion, with chef pairing together two individually delicious ingredients but ruining the taste unity in the process. Salted fish and persimmons? Could be good, but not so here... Service is not bad, but reactions from a some staff members seem outright weird and awkwardly robotic. Try lunch if you are in the area and hungry, and dinner if you need that romantic feel. Don’t expect to be wowed though.
Beautiful place! Food is good but not for the price. We've been to many restaurants before and even though the atmosphere was fantastic and the food tasted good, the size of the portions and the flavour did not match with what we were charged. If you don't mind spending well over 100 dollars per person, give it a try because the place is really nice and the service is amazing. Otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants in Tokyo that offer a better value but at a less sophisticated place.
Worst restaurant experience ever living in Tokyo ! Avoid this over priced and worst ever service and manner of staff. Dark atmosphere and you are “forbidden” to use the light only from your phone. Not able to change your order only after 10min of choosing fish over Lamb! Horrible attitude even the manager (guy/chef) rudely spoke and said don’t use light on phone as we tell everyone! Attitude from waitress’s , no attention to serve, we always had to ask for service. Over priced wines. Place is not that nice. Would never recommend but strongly suggest to avoid!
