Miàn Wū ぬかじ - 渋谷

I was pleased to learn that the owner had previously worked at a 4-story ramen restaurant in Miyamasuzaka, Shibuya, where I used to frequent. Not only is the taste delicious, but the restaurant is stylish with a great atmosphere, and the attention to detail in each spice is wonderful. Even the background music is well-chosen, making for a pleasant dining experience.

Located just outside bustling Shibuya, this cozy restaurant only accommodates a few patrons at a time. They specialize in serving superb tori paitan ramen, made with a rich chicken broth. The restaurant offers an English menu and the staff are fluent in English, making it easy to place an order without the usual confusion of a Japanese vending machine. While most diners opted for the tsukemen (cold dipping noodles), I decided to go with the traditional ramen and it did not disappoint. The meal was fantastic and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. This visit will definitely be a cherished memory from my time in Japan.

The noodles were fantastic and they had a great variety of local craft beers to choose from.
