I’m usually not a pancake person but gave this place a chance because it’s not just pancakes they serve. They have a lot of options, such as eggs Benedict, chicken Caesar salad, and salmon avocado salad, to go with your side of pancakes. So you won’t get bored essentially with your pancake meal. The basil sauce that comes with the dishes is also very appetizing! I would only say their coffee is quite disappointing; t... View all feedback.
What Yura Y doesn't like about J. S. Pancake Cafe Nakano Central Park:
I'm a big fan of J. S. Burger. So expected this place to be the same. Unfortunately it wasn't great. The salad bar for 500yen was not worth it. There were around 8 total items and half of them the staff didn't refill. Even after pointing out that some of the dishes were empty, only the dressing got refilled. The pancakes were good, but also very small in my opinion, certainly not the same size proportions as the burg... View all feedback.
Mouthwatering pancakes! Unfortunately the service is not keeping up and despite the empty tables inside the waiting time was extended
It’s taking way too long to get the food. Get ready to wait 20 to 30 minutes after ordering
Spacious cafe with plenty of seats in Nakano Central Park. The ricotta pancake was just ok tho.

The basil sauce that comes with the dishes is also very appetizing! I would only say their coffee is quite disappointing; their brewed coffee taste burnt and their latte tastes like milk but I’m still giving this place a 4 stars because the food is delicious and the venue is warm and inviting. Just don’t get the coffee!
We came here on Sunday at 2 PM. There were a few groups before us but the queue moved pretty quickly. Lasagna pancakes were very nice. The pancakes fluffy and delicious. However we were not told that there was no drink set, only salad+drink set. If we knew, we would take the salad bar as well, as the difference in price would be only 120 yen. The red velvet pancakes (limited for two months) were okay. Nothing to do with the real red velvet cake though. The chocolate they used was good. Edit: I have been here many times. The seasonal desserts sometimes taste very good, sometimes just okay, but the cafe is nice and I will come again.
