Such a lovely little cat cafe! Pretty easy to find and has English friendly menus. The cats were very cute and overall pretty friendly! Sat with my laptop for a few hours on a rainy day and it was a perfect way to spend the time. View all feedback.
What Meg Celine C doesn't like about Cat Cafe Mocha /ikebukuro West Store:
The staff knows how to speak a little english and they are very accomodating. There are strict rules like no carrying of the cats. Nevertheless, I like the ambience and the cats were adorable. Best cat cafe experience ever! Cats so friendly. All cats have there own characters you will fall in love with. Definitely go and have your own experience you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back!
You get a drink as standard with the entrance fee (hot/cold coffee/chocolate/milk tea). Naturally no food allowed. Good varitarion of cats that are playful and well groomed. Very hygienic as the friendly ladies were mopping three times during our hour there. We have seen some other cat cafes where the cats and state of cleanliness were poor but this is definitely not one of them! We have tried their Shibuya/Shinjuku branch and loved that as well!
This cat café is part of a chain of reputable and high quality cat cafes around Tokyo. The Ikebukuro location has one of the nicest décor and vibes of all of them. The cats are friendly and there is always a good variety of breeds. Reasonable cost that includes a soft drink drink-bar.

There was unli drinks but the drinks were not good, and the rating is expensive. The cafe costs 550 yen in the first 10 mins and 200 yen for every succeeding 10 minutes. The minutes passed by so fast we didn't realize we already spent 30 minutes inside the cafe when it felt like 10 minutes. There are packages like the whole day access. When you go here, I recommend taking at least 2 hours stay or take the whole day entry package to maximize your stay. 30 minutes to 1 hour is not enough.
The cats are all so well kept and taken care of! I’m really impressed! They are all very clean as well. I was expecting sad cats but the cats here are so well loved. You can pay about 2,000 yen to stay here the whole day to do your work or read a book in an environment filled with adorable cats! Feeding time is at 7pm so be sure to go at that time to watch them get fed in a straight line.
