Taqueria El Jalapeno - Sherwood

Big little Mexican restaurant in Sherwood. Looks smaller on the outside than on the inside. The decorations and the mariachi music soundtrack make you feel like you are on holiday in Mexico. The service was friendly, and the food was good for each of us. Including the flan for desert. We liked it so much that we could come back. Maybe this time you try the Fajitas. There are so many dishes to choose that you can spend a lot of time back to Jalapeno to try them all.

First time in. Much bigger inside than I expected and very nice decor. Food was fresh and tasty. The owner is super friendly and checked on us often making sure everything was okay. The carnitas were perfectly cooked and the tamales were flavorful and well packed. We had lunch but will be returning to try out dinner!

Killer bacon wrapped shrimp and fish tacos!! Service was great as well!!

I absolutely love this place! I visited with a friend and tried the shrimp tacos, which were incredible! I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town. The margarita I ordered was also superb. The service was fast and friendly, and we were seated right away with no issues! The following morning, I had to catch a flight back to Boise, but this restaurant and the evening we spent there will be memories I'll cherish forever. I highly recommend trying it for yourself and making some wonderful memories!

We decided to stop here on our way back from the coast, and we really enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere of the place was wonderful, and our server was fantastic—very attentive to our needs. If you ever find yourself in Sherwood, be sure to check it out!
