Excellent General Tso chicken among other great entrées. Prices are still reasonable compared to other restaurants. Very authentic feel inside the restaurant, although it's easy to miss driving by. Our family really loved the food and I'm sure you will too. View all feedback.
What S E doesn't like about Chinese Pavilion:
Visited on Sunday for the buffet. I came in at 8pm and they close at 9. The place was mostly empty and buffet was sparse. The items they had out that were supposed to be hot were either lukewarm or cold. I let the manager know but he insisted that they were hot. I had one very greasy salty eggroll and cup of soup. I don’t touch the drink because on close inspection it looked like something was floating in it. They ch... View all feedback.
Went there for a date day, sadly the buffet was closed and a sign said the buffet was only on Sundays. We went ahead and stayed and ordered anyways, the food was really good and fresh, service was awesome and there were very few people there, so it was quiet and a nice atmosphere for our date. Since I'm on the keto diet, I didn't have many options, but I decided on the Mandarin combination, it had beef, shrimp, chicken and a variety of veggies, it came swimming in a liquid, which is my only complaint because there was so much of it and I didn't know if it was keto friendly or not so I ended up draining it off before each bite. My husband ordered pork dumplings and chicken fried rice, we shared the dumplings I opened a few and ate the pork filling, he ate a few and my empty ones) they came with a lightly sweet sauce that was delicious, I ended up slightly dipping a few of my meats and veggies in that sauce, so good. I will definitely be going back, might try the buffet next time.
The food is really good and they give you plenty of it. They have a buffet on Sundays only.
Although place was not busy the food did not seem like it was freshly made. It was a bit cool so it gave the impression that it was reheated. The rice was good however our server did not allow us to alter the lunch entree to how we wanted it. It came with plain fried rice and we wanted pork or shrimp fried rice. The server made us order an additional fried rice plate, in our case it was shrimp fried rice. It would have made a huge difference in the customer service aspect of this experience.
This was the worst place for Chinese food I had been to for the price that I had to pay China town in Conway was whole bunch better
