Nothing like a good ol root beer boat to feel like a child again! Plus it?s also a KFC, so you can scrub on a delicious fried chicken! Is it good for you? Probably not, but also not Facebook stalking. But you do it anyway. View all feedback.
What Mckayla Bahringer doesn't like about A&w:
Super friendly staff but the service was very slow. It took almost 20 minutes to receive our order. Others were helped more quickly so I 'm not sure what happened. The food was hot and tasted good when it finally arrived. They need more staffing to clean the eating area. I was greeted with a Thank you for coming in as we left. I 'll give them another try soon and update this review. View all feedback.
Love the food here, good old-fashioned American junk food. I like the root beer, but I like it especially that they are combined with KFC. I like the fried chicken, especially the Nashville hot style. Of course you can never go wrong with a root beer float or fried cheese curds. Yus
The Cashier first charged me $50.00 for a $15.00 meal which had to be Voided. Then when I asked to Order two extra patties on the side ? at $1.00 each as I have done numerous amount of times at A&W in Tigard (Patties for my Service Dog ??? the Cashier tried to charge regular full burgers ? ? I then asked for here to just take one patty of my double instead and put it in a box ? she persisted not to understand that concept and tried to bill me for a single burger which she had to Void. I said No, just slide one of mine in a box. Easy Peasy Lemon ? Squeezy! Well, still not getting it, she went and got her Manager. The Manager came up. I explained to her to take a patty of the double and put in box ? She said oh ok. The Cashier said what, and the Manager said I got it . When my order came up, number was called. I went ti get but drinks weren 't ready. So I waited. And Waited. So long that my buddy ordered, got his food just in the nick of time to wait with me fir now both of our drinks. The Manager came up and asked if this was my food sitting in the togo area. I said yes, as I thought how do you not know this, when you are the one who brought it up to the area and I walked up to it in front of her. (No one but my dog and buddy were in the restaurant? ???? I said we are waiting for drinks (lg RB Floats . Which has now been about 5-6 minutes. So she asked another employee to get them instead of her taking Charge and making them herself. We waited another 3 minutes. Well, we finally got home with the food, not only realized that the double burger I ordered was a Single not Double as it was wrapped in a single burger wrapper. Sounds suspect but possible until the second patty to be placed in the box ? was non existent. Nowhere to be found. Really! ? after all that and REALLY! ? Now my Service Dog ??? doesn 't get his Reward for the Week. So I ? called down to A&W and the Manager kept saying that I had ordered a single burger not a double burger. How and Why does that not compute ! She comes out from back of house and says I got this to us all after explaining double burger slide into a box into a single. She also keeps saying sorry sorry sorry. I work with people who say sorry all day long and think that makes it ok, but never learn from the mistake, just throw the word sorry like it 's some kind of super bandaid. Besides, why would I have a single burger ? put in the box so I can eat bread and veggies. Com on Man ! Seriously ! ???? If you can 't understand the words coming out of my mouth like Chris Tucker says, then don 't blame your Customers. This Country has Great Communications Classes. ? Jeff and 5 Roberts ???? ?
I went here on my birthday to receive a free root beer float. I asked the clerk behind the counter for it informed her it was my birthday had my ID in hand. She answered me in broken English that she didn 't understand what I wanted. I patiently explained to her what I wanted she continued to act confused. I asked for the manager she left to find him. When he came to the counter, miraculously, he seemed to know exactly what I wanted wished me a happy birthday ! He then began instructing her in how to ring up free item explained the birthday float policy-all in English, of which, all of a sudden she magically understood! So, that started out badly. The restaurant itself was really dirty I was unable to find a clean table to sit at. I chose the least dirtiest one, sat down proceeded to listen to the restaurant staff yelling at one another repeatedly dropping heavy items on the floor. Definitely won 't go back there.

I ordered two Bacon Cheeseburgers, but they weren't really necessary. I received my food while I was shaking and freezing, along with onion rings and fries. Once I got home, I realized there was no salad, no tomatoes, and no bacon. It was just a plain cheeseburger. I was too exhausted to drive back and complain. The rest of the food was pretty average. I remember when their burgers had that authentic barbecue flavor, but that's no longer the case. I don't think I'll be returning. I could get a better happy hour deal on a good cheeseburger elsewhere, and I'm trying to reach out to the company but haven't heard anything in response.
