Good Pulled Pork and Fries My wife and I drove over to Sherrills Ford today. I 've been before but she had not and wanted to give it a try. Beings a Pittsburgh girl, she like bar food and every now and then, wants to give it a try. Horsefeathers is a bit on an upscale biker bar and but nothing to worry about and just a place to have fun. It 's good for the entire family and they have a bit of sense of humor as evidenced by signs that say things like, If you 're here to drink to forget ... Please pay your bill first and my favorite Unattended Children Will Be Sold As Bait Service is horrible but then again, when we got there, they only had one overworked waitstaff trying to take care of the whole place. Other staff members were there but no one volunteered to help her out so everyone paid the price. I ordered the pulled pork plate which came with hushpuppies and slaw. For my side I ordered Fries. The pork was a bit dry but good and the sauce made up for the dryness. Fries were excellent but the hushpuppies were raw on the inside and the slaw had no taste or texture. My wife had the lunch special which was meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. Would have been pretty good except it was tepid at best. Another couple of seconds in the microwave would have corrected that. All it all, it was not bad but not good enough to warrent a return trip in the near future.

I called in tonight to order takeout. I ordered a pulled pork plate. The woman taking my order misunderstood me and said I ordered a brisket plate. I corrected her, and she repeated back my order and said it would be ready in 20 minutes. Fast forward to almost 45 minutes later, my order was finally ready. Whatever they gave me did not resemble pulled pork OR brisket. It was like someone rehydrated a piece of leather and dipped it in oil. We were very disappointed and will not be back. BLECH!!! One more note, this place is more of a bar than a restaurant. I think Bar Rescue needs to make a visit!

Great biker bar with lots going on on Saturday and Sunday. Great smoked wings, but they sell out quick. Good times with good friends. The rest of the menu is your standard sports bar variety. The Outlaw Burger is pretty huge with a ton of meat, bacon and onion rings. Served with lots of fries. Bring TUMS! All in all, the food is average, the beer specials are average, the staff is average, but hey you are in a biker bar, get over it!

The best smoked chicken wings ever! The Real Boss Hog Sandwich rocks .. Great local bar Service is awesome too! I used to live here and I'm back for vacation to get awesome food... Live In California now.. Can't get wings and barbecue like this place.. Miss the local people and food..

Oh Horsefeathers.... a place I go and drink entirely too much... The service is generally pretty good, if you sit at the bar or at least in the bar area. The further you go away from the bar the further service tends to be spotty or downright bad I appreciate that they have a number of good local beers on draft. This is a positive and the main reason I end up over there: white zombie on draft and cheap. The food tends to be a major hit or miss, generally OK at peak hours on weekends bordering on bad or worse when things are slow during the week. Stick to the basics and you'll be reasonable happy-like burgers, BBQ, Chicken sandwiches, etc. sway, and you will not! (Probably the worst chili I've ever had lol) Oh, they have live music occasionally that isn't half bad! If you're passing by and need a beer, it's a fair spot to grab one. If you're intentionally driving there from a distance be sure you're doing it for some event or music that's there as the food isn't worth it.
