Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, this Thai restaurant offers a mixed dining experience, marked by exquisite flavors and hospitable service. Many patrons rave about its authentic dishes, such as the pineapple curry and flavorful pad Thai, accentuated by customizable spice levels. However, some diners have faced disappointing mishaps, including cold entrees and subpar appetizers. While service is generally praised, inconsistent attitudes from staff can detract from the overall experience. Despite minor grievances—like ambient odors—the restaurant consistently delights a loyal clientele, making it a worthwhile destination for those seeking quality Thai cuisine.

Was barry harris at Crazy Thai a mag?
We arrived at 2pm on a Sunday, so the restaurant was empty and we were the only customers for a while. It was peaceful and quiet. The servers were relaxed and helpful without being too pushy. The food was excellent, I ordered the chicken pad thai lunch special. It was so good that I finished it quickly! Overall, the service was great. We had a nice dine-in lunch experience. What Paul Lim dislikes about Crazy Thai:
The food at this restaurant was too salty for my taste, making it difficult to even eat a few bites. I had to order the same dish again with less salt, but I was charged for both orders. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 3 out of 5. View all feedback.

Although our call-in order was prepared quickly, it was both expensive and unappetizing. My daughter and I ordered a couple of appetizers and two entrees. Unfortunately, the crab rangoons were either frozen in the middle or served cold, while the calamari rings were bland and also cold. The dipping sauce was reminiscent of orange-tinted syrupy water. I ordered the pad thai, which turned out to be a disappointing mush of overcooked, heavily salted spaghetti noodles with minimal chicken or tofu. While I don't mind indulging in cheap take-out from a hole-in-the-wall joint when necessary, I expected the cost to be around $5 or $6, not $11 or $12. With our meal totaling almost $50, it simply wasn't worth it in the end.
The curry and drunken noodles were delicious! The crab rangoons were average. I found the orange sauce to be too sweet and lacking in flavor. The owners were friendly and the prices were fair. In terms of vegetarian options, the soup was not vegetarian but the server was honest about it and assisted in finding alternatives. Most of the entrees offer vegetarian choices. As for parking, I ended up with a nail in my tire when leaving the lot. It's possible there was construction recently, so I recommend being cautious about where you park.
I absolutely adored this restaurant! The Thai food was fantastic and could easily compete with any other restaurant in a larger city. The service was friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere was pleasant. This meal was the highlight of my week-long road trip. My only criticism is that upon entering, I initially smelled mothballs instead of the delicious Thai cuisine, and noticed a box of them in the women's restroom. However, the longer I stayed, the less I noticed the smell, suggesting that the staff may not be aware of the issue. Despite this small inconvenience, I would definitely return to this restaurant without hesitation.
