This charming little restaurant offers genuine Italian flair and cuisine. The owners, who are from Italy, are wonderful, friendly, and genuinely proud of their dishes. The food is fresh, clean, and delicious. After spending a month in Italy, my dinner here made me feel like I was still in Tuscany. It's a must-visit spot in Sherman, Connecticut. What Steve dislikes about Amore:
The food was fresh and delicious, but the service left much to be desired. There were too many people attending to us, which meant there was a lack of attention to detail. My dish was served with red and white sauce, but I wasn’t informed about it; instead, the staff went to the table behind us to share that information. Amore is an amazing restaurant with great homemade Italian food. Owners, chef Sergio and his lovely wife Luisa, will make you feel like you are dining in their home.

I can’t wait for Amore to be back in April!!! Everything here is terrific from the salads, the pasta , the main course and the pizza!!! Hope to see you guys soon!!

The owners also run a restaurant in Fort Myers, Florida called Azzurri, and I can’t wait to check it out during my next trip to Florida.
