Restaurant Auguste - Sherbrooke

Always a pleasure to spend an evening at Auguste. The food offering is inspired and delicious. Located on my favourite street in Sherbrooke, Wellington North, Auguste is always a delight. At my last visit I had the crab cake to start, served crispy and golden brown, the calf's liver, which was the best I ever had, and the pouding chômeur to finish all accompanied with a reasonably priced Bourgogne.

We had an amazing brunch this morning! The food and the service were unparalleled. The decor of the restaurant is contemporary-classic. Our waitress Lisandre, the québécoise Adele, spent time explaining the menu "en anglais " for our friend who was visiting from Portugal. They have this awesome deal for $20 from 5-6 pm and after 9pm - worth investigating! Highly recommend and will repeat next time we're in Sherbrooke. Forgot to mention great café au lait and cappuccino!

We were I town for a 3 day convention and having follower the previous chef owner Danny St.Pierre, it was a perfect time to try it out as it was also our 34th wedding anniversary. We had a 6:15 reservation...perfect, as the later evening crowd had not arrived so, it was quiet. We were seated by the window with view on the terrace.From start to finish we were served by the very attentive and professional Alexandre. We started out with cocktails a microbrewery lager for hubby and a Manhattan...a little on the bourbon side, just the way I like it! We decided to try the famous poutine inversee which was fun!!! We both picked the pork tenderloin. Our entree was the petales de tomates glaceesfor me and a beet salad with local goat cheese and green grapes both delicious.our pork was very good albeit slightly overdone for our taste and my hubby felt the sauce was a bit too bitter but, again a matter of personal taste! We chose a Cote du Rhone Clos De La Mure which complemented our meal perfectly! Too full for desert, we brought back to our hotel the delicious cheesecake and chocolate tart with popcorn!! They packaged it the same as if leaving a pastry shop. As a little surprise, a white chocolate mousse with sparkler for our special day...we shared...delish! The restaurant's ambiance was relaxed, very nice decor and enjoyable chill lounge music in the background. Our meal came out to 164.00 + tip of a well deserved 20%. We heartily recommend this gem in the heart of beautiful downtown Sherbrooke.

Nous sommes allés en famille pour le brunch et quelle surprise! Service super souriant agréable le carpaccio parfait le tartare de thon succulent le hambergeois coûteux les frites maison appréciablesBref rien a dire. Juste une petit chose la roquette un peu vieillots mais sinon tout le reste topOn y reviendra

Très bons choix de repas et abordable pour les familles. la nourriture très bien et bonnes suggestions des serveurs.
