The barista was very friendly and recommended a latte i... read more I don’t speak French, so… This cafe was a wonderful discovery during our stay at the Times hotel nearby. The barista was very friendly and recommended a latte instead of a cappuccino, claiming it would be less bitter. He was right! Normally, I need to add sugar to my drinks, but his latte was perfect as it was. We brought our energetic 7 and 9-year-olds with us for breakfast, and we enjoyed crêpes, waffles, seasonal quiche, and pancakes (a bit different from what we're used to, but still tasty), all served with a generous helping of perfectly ripe fruit. Our picky younger daughter particularly liked her waffles. They also seemed to have vegan options for coffee drinks and food, as well as some appealing take-and-bake dishes in their self-serve refrigerator. Additionally, the cafe had a nice selection of greeting cards, locally crafted soaps, coffee accessories, and adorable hand-crocheted stuffed animals (which our daughters convinced us to buy). We left feeling satisfied and ready to explore some local murals on our way to Maine.

Beautiful space to hang out, read or work in, small but delicious (and usually vegan-friendly) menu, fantastic coffee, solid Wi-Fi, super friendly staff and owner. Do yourself a favor and head there on a rainy Sunday morning with a good book and order some breakfast and coffee.
