The County Members - Shepway

A lovely country pub, with friendly and helpful staff. In particular the chef ensured that the meals cooked were exactly as we wanted them. The homemade lamb pie was huge and cooked perfectly, accompanied by fresh vegetables. The steak was cooked to my liking with all the usual trimmings. Try the Gypsy tart it is delicious! We will be going back!

Sunday lunch, last weekend, superb roast and veggies, 'Cordon Bleu ' standard food in our opinion, and brilliant service to boot. Friendly local pub atmosphere, and, last but not least, dog friendly!

A very enjoyable meal, good selection of of food at reasonable prices. Service was quick and meals well presented

Visited this pub a good amount now, the latest time they were hosting an American night with themed food. I have to say the food was very tasty and very well laid out. The staff serving the table were very smiley and prompt in their service. Would not hesitate to go back next time we visit the area. Good value to.

Poor atmosphere ….when entering a pub you expect to be greeted with a friendly smile! Don’t go here if,.. one you want a friendly welcome, two a drink and three to sit down! All three requested were received with horror. I want local Pubs to do well but maybe they should become home Workers as they defiantly aren’t front of house people! Don’t waste your time or money as as they posted yesterday,…dogs are made more comfortable.
