At That Burger, patrons are divided on their culinary experience. While some rave about the vibrant flavors and perfectly cooked, juicy patties, others criticize blandness and high prices—even for additional condiments. Friendly, efficient service has been highlighted as a consistent plus, often paired with a relaxed atmosphere and scenic views. Best burger I’ve had in a long time! Quick service and delicious food. Lovely views and sunshine sitting outside on the harbour arm. Had the Nat love burger with onion rings, crispy onions and bbq sauce with Cajun fries :
Kudos to the young lady serving and cooking all by her self today. She did a sterling job with the customers. Being one of the few places open mid week meant she was rushed off her feet but met each customer with a smile. Lovely burgers and crispy crinkle chips. Can recommend the jerk seasoning on them. Well done, give that lady a pay rise!
Our daughters both fancied a burger at Folkestone Harbour and we came across That Burger where they ordered a Cheeseburger and a MacDaddy Absolutely delicious and the fries were the best crispy tasty fries we have had in ages! Great view of the White Cliffs to top it off too
I found the BEEF burger to have a strange taste of FISH, and it was priced at ten pounds! When I brought this up to the staff, they insisted that it did not taste like fish and implied that I was lying. They did offer to make me a new burger, but after being accused of lying, I declined. The staff was rude and the burger was quite plain. I would recommend going to McDonald's instead. Save your money and try The Big Greek Bus instead.
I had a cheeseburger with grilled onions on a brioche bun. Although the burger seemed small because of the bun size, I believe it was a 1/4lb patty. The meat was of good quality and cooked and seasoned well. The crinkle chips were better than any fries nearby. However, I found the prices to be high and was charged an extra 50p for ketchup, but that seems to be the norm in this area for dining options.
