What CliveT64 doesn't like about Keppels Bistro:
We stopped at Folkestone for an hour or two during our British Belmond Pullman trip. A coach took us the short ride to Folkestone Promenade from the station. After a walk we sat in the gardens of the Grand Hotel with a G&T and a cold beer from Keppels as overfed but still hungry gulls loitered slyly overhead, waiting to swoop on tables of discarded food. It was a bright, sunny day and the views across the Channel wer... View all feedback. What User likes about Keppels Bistro:
Kepples is still my hidden gem, with its personal touch and attention to detail always leaving me impressed. The table service and generous portions make for a delicious meal, especially in winter when the cozy fireplace and hot chocolate are perfect for keeping the cold at bay. It's definitely worth a visit, as is the hotel where it's located, with its historic building and attractive amenities that have been drawin... View all feedback.

read moreKeppels offers a mixed experience, showcasing a beautiful seaside setting that enchants visitors with stunning views. While the venue is well-suited for casual dining and drinks, particularly in the lively bar area where pets are welcome, concerns arise regarding the food quality and service efficiency. Dishes such as fish and chips and paninis have been met with disappointment, suggesting a need for improvement. Despite this, the welcoming staff and pleasing ambiance create a cozy environment for families and couples alike. Overall, Keppels remains a decent option for a drink or light meal, though diners might seek better culinary experiences elsewhere.
