The staff were friendly, the coffee was great, and the lemon muffins were half price! We also found out by chance that there's a free parking lot behind the restaurant. If you take a left just before reaching Costa while heading towards Hastings, you'll find it. View all feedback.
What NRM1982 doesn't like about Costa Coffee:
Costa is Costa wherever you go but this one I found had a few niggles. Staff do not seem to be very well trained and as pleasant as other Costa’s. For some unknown reason when I visited for a eat in I was told by my wife when she returned to the table that they were only giving drinks in take-away cups, although there were loads of cups on display, If I am paying for a eat in cup I don’t want to drink out of a cardbo... I just want to thank the lady again who really gave myself& my client exceptional service, while I was working as a support worker. I did ask for your name however I have forgotten. But I did not forget how amazing you were on Saturday! We came in and out a couple of times to use the facilities and grab a tea/coffee, and everytime you had a massive smile on your face, and was helpful, chatty. I forgot my card and you gave me a free latte. So to the brown-haired, beautiful lady who was working a couple of days ago you are a credit to your team and to the community. PS sorry for the bad photo of you but you made our day special.
As of Wednesday 26th August 2020 Costa is open until 17:00 although the official Costa App says 16:00. Very friendly staff and it was nice and quiet when we were there so no problem finding somewhere quiet to sit.
Lovely coffee and bacon roll. Nice and roomy inside although from outside didn't look as if it was open. Thankfully it was.
