Tonight we gave this place another try. I used my bday free entrée coupon. We got 2 of their thin crust pizzas, they have a different $5 thin crust pizza everyday. Today it was the pepperoni, my grandson got it loved it!! Our with more toppings were okay, pretty soggy in the middle, maybe better distribution of toppings, like out further to the edges, would solve that problem? What David Wood doesn't like about Johnny Carino's:
Service was wonderful, but a thin and crispy pizza should be crispy… not chewy and soft. Dad’s chicken bacon ranch had 2 tiny pieces of bacon in it and was also chewy. The pizza guy needs to either be retrained or needs to slow down. No reason to send out sub par food when there are less than 10 customers in the restaurant. Maybe that’s why there are less than 10 customers at lunch time on a Saturday. Oh well, there... View all feedback.
Rant to Johnny carinos Went for Mother’s Day with my kids (6 and 1) and my boyfriend and his mom for Mother’s Day Service was slow understandable they seemed to be short staffed when we got our mozzarella sticks they where cold and dang near in edible they ended up taking it off the table and not charging use since only one mozzarella stick had a bite out of it. that’s not my issue my issue was when my 1 year old started to cry some due to his knees being stuck in the high chair and the waiter commented to another family “wow at least your kids actually behaves” the mother of the other family was very kind and apologized for the waiters comment and leveled with me in understanding….being that we’ve always loved going to Johnny carinos this definitely put a bad taste in my mouth… I may not be the best mother and my kids may cry sometimes but they are not by any means a problem they are well behaved… It’ll be a hot minute before we go back and try again maybe then they will be back to what they use to be Happy Mother’s Day everyone!!! I am eating now in this place and to tell you it's really yummy and I love the place I will be coming back for sure???.BTW I left a duck at the front.
Held my end of season team dinner here and my sons graduation lunch all in one week! Team dinner we were taken care of and the 2 male waiters(hate to not catch their names) even brought out ice cream for all my girls!! Graduation lunch they were real understaffed, but Olga (bartender) did not hesitate to make sure we were well taken care of!. Don't let prices scare you, portions are huge!
