What Michael Brooks doesn't like about Hwy Cafe:
This was the first and last time I'll eat anything from this place, I had the chicken fried steak and eggs to go. The steak and hash brown were so greasy it was literally dripping of of them, and the gravy tasted like burned flour. The only good part of the meal was the biscuit and scramble egg, and that's not saying much. View all feedback.

The service was awful. We sat down no one waited on us, four people came in behind us and the server had their silverware and menus ready and followed them to the table. I guess you have to be a regular there to get waited on. We will never be back just because of the service alone
We read reviews and we're a little concerned. But from our perspective, the food was delicious, the service was very good, and the atmosphere was what you expect. We were there at 8:30 for breakfast on a Friday. It wasn't too busy, amd we had a great meal.
