China Kitchen is located in the heart of Shepherdstown, WV. From the moment you go to this facility, you can feel the mood that it is an authentic family-run Chinese restaurant. I was greeted by the owner and her, I suppose her daughter. Armed people and rustic atmosphere. I ordered the items that are usually more difficult to make the right way and the reward to get it right is amazing. They captured the essence of... View all feedback.
What Nellie Thiel doesn't like about China Kitchen:
my friend, I wanted to eat Chinese, but somewhere not far from the house, we go into no one was there the woman was surprised when we went, as she did not see a customer in one because, we choose a table, she comes to us hung dirty menus, and there we were already robbed, then another dame comes out and puts tee on the table, they did not speak. we've gone out. it was dirty in there too! The restaurant is not clean. from the kitchen on the way out and was apprehended at the fat on the wall. I wanted to start a baptism and order beer. > 50 % of the menu were not available (for reasons unexplained) we paid and expired at two bits of the items we ordered. the food didn't taste good at all.

How do you screw up and garnish?! bad service and space is empty at lunchtime. I was the only person who calls food. never again.
Place is terrible! eating sucked, service sucked, place is dirty.
Awful experience. DON’T EVER EAT HERE!! I BEG YOU!!! Ordered the curry chicken and wonton soup. The restaurant was empty when I went around lunch time but I have it the benefit of the doubt. We wanted to eat somewhere else but the power was out across the street. The soup tasted oily and the chicken was crunchy.I politely asked if I could order something else and then the owner came to my table and demanded to know what was wrong with the food. She LITERALLY YELLED AT ME (putting her hands down on the table and everything) and told me that the food was fine and that I had already eaten it (even though I only had a few bites and my plate was still full). I tried to just ask for the check and she kept fussing at me!!!
