We always meet friends here or make new ones. The place is quite small and we often come here. It has many natural lighting and great service. Femalely owned, they offer a cozy environment with beautiful dishes. Sometimes the ice is frozen to cut through, but apart from that, the pasta, pizza, dumpling soup, salads and smoothies are all very good. I enjoy their food and freshly baked bread. Be careful for allergens.... View all feedback.
The dining experience was fantastic, especially the tiramisu cheesecake. They also had delicious bakery options for sale; I will definitely be trying the Japanese milk bread soon. I was surprised to enjoy the vegan pizza, and overall I would give this restaurant 4 stars. They also offer a variety of dishes and pasta. I arrived near closing time, so some menu items were unavailable, but there were still plenty of choices. The only downside was the limited seating. The Basque Cheesecake looked amazing, and I plan to try it next time. The main drawback is the restaurant's difficult-to-find location; it's not ideal for a quick meal, although the service was quick. I had to navigate a maze to find the entrance, spending 30 minutes before finding it on WeChat. Make sure to check their official account on WeChat to see a video on how to get there, as it's the only downside of this otherwise great spot.
Getting to this restaurant can be a bit tricky as you need to follow the map directions carefully (I recommend using a navigation app as the map provided led me to the wrong location). Once you arrive, take the elevator to the 5th floor, then head to building C and take the elevator to the 23rd floor where you'll find the restaurant at 2309. The interior is beautiful with a great view and lovely aesthetics. The menu offers a variety of options including pizzas, pasta, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, smoothies, and a good selection of vegan baked goods. I particularly enjoyed the wraps and the pizza with a tomato base. I would love to try more options from the menu, although I wish they had a few more choices available. Overall, I found the vegan food scene in Shenzhen to be lacking, but this restaurant stood out as one of the best I've visited. It's refreshing to support a 100% vegan restaurant serving western dishes. The prices are reasonable and the quality is top-notch. I highly recommend giving this place a visit.
We always meet friends here or make new ones. The place is quite small and we come here quite often. It has a lot of natural lighting and great service. The female staff members offer a cozy environment and are beautifully dressed. Occasionally, the ice can be too frozen to cut through, but besides that, the pasta, pizza, dumpling soup, salads, and smoothies are all very good. I especially enjoy the freshly baked bread. The burgers are made with Hao Foods’ chicken, which is made from peanut protein. They are now careful to inform their guests about this.
The food was amazing – especially the Tiramisu cheesecake. They also had beautiful bakery options for sale; I will definitely try a loaf of Japanese milk bread in the near future. I never thought I would enjoy vegan pizza without leaving Guangdong, so for that alone I would give 4 stars. They also offer some bowls and pasta. I went closer to closing so some menu options were not available, but much was. The only thing that prevents me from trying more was the size of my stomach. The Basque Cheesecake also looked amazing, and I'm sure I'll try it next time. The biggest drawback is it hard to find / forget; not beneficial to get there for a quick bite (although service was prompt) just because you need to go through a mini maze to get there. I killed 30 minutes to find the right entrance before I saw her on WeChat. Make sure to find their official account on WeChat, so you can see a video how to get there. It's really the only way.
My experience with Young Vegan was very pleasant. It was a great meal, especially the Hafernudeln salad with a unique and fresh sauce that I had had olive oil, black vinegar, mustard and other ingredients. The noodles had a chewing texture that reminded me of Korean cold noodles. The vegan wraps were also delicious with a fresh and light taste that was not fat, she earned a 5-star rating from me. The tomato paste with smoked tofu was decent, but the pasta was slightly soft (I found myself picky, how soft or firm my pasta was lol). My favorite is the smoked tofu they had. Not sure if it likes XD. I tried a bit of the pumpkin soup, which was quite thick and firm, and the salad with decent vinegar sauce. The bakery items also seemed quite delicious (the next time they could try). The only drawback was the situation that was a bit difficult to locate. Although the shop was small, the view of the beautiful landscape turned on it. Overall, I recommend Young Vegan to anyone looking for fresh and vegan food in a breathtaking environment. I hope you have a pleasant time, just like me. Updated by previous review on 2023-02-19
