Hamlin Pub Van Dyke - Shelby Township

Jen was my day time bartender, she was cheerful, attentive, welcome everyone who entered, made sure my food came promptly, and made my visit an exceptionally pleasant one. She deserves the praise and I she made me realize a wonderful Hamlin experience. I wish my local Hamlin pub at 22 and Hayes would hire someone like Jen as their daytime bartender.

Overall, it was an okay to good experience. We weren't informed when we walked in that the restaurant would be closing at 10:00, even though Google indicated that they were open until midnight. That was true, but it only applied to the bar, not the restaurant. However, the manager was very accommodating, and the waitress was doing her best. She was kind enough to bring us fries, complimentary drinks, and the chili cheese fries, which were delicious.

The food, service, and atmosphere are fantastic! Plus, don’t miss out on Burger and Brew Tuesdays!

I visited this restaurant with some friends and family for drinks and food. The food was delicious, and the staff was outstanding, being very accommodating to our large group. The ambiance was quite comfortable. They had a DJ and a dance floor, although I'm not sure if they offer live entertainment as well. If you're in search of a relaxed spot to enjoy drinks with friends, I highly recommend this place.
