Had an amazing experience. My wife and I have never been here. We were around the corner for a birthday party and decided to take a nice brisk stroll. Two words: Southwest Salad. Get it, love it, and you will keep thinking about it and get it again and again. Everything is good at Mavrix but that salad is 'the bomb '!
I'm giving them a 4 star because their ribs are burgers are great. The last 2 times I went here, I ordered something different and it wasn't great. There is always a sign for cooks. My husband had the fish and it wasn't very good. I ordered a Philly cheese steak. It was awful. They used the Velveeta cheese dip sauce on the sandwich. There was also some other white cheese that was a liquid. It was the weirdest Philly I've ever had. It was like nacho chip cheese. Skip that one.
The food was fantastic! We ordered a 15-piece serving of lemon pepper-flavored traditional wings, and they were amazing! My wife enjoyed a glass of red Cabernet, while I tried a twisted Daiquiri for the first time. I can honestly say that I would make the trip back just for that drink, no matter the gas prices! I highly recommend this restaurant!
Huge boneless wings with a fantastic selection of flavors, and the house-made blue cheese was excellent. I also recommend trying the parmesan cheese fries!
This is a fantastic sports bar and restaurant with exceptional service! The food was also quite delicious.
