We had to make a quick trip to Orangeville to pick up a dresser and on our way back decided to stop at Champs. Had never eaten at Champs so decided to give it a try. I have to admit, I was quite disappointed to visit this restaurant post-COVID, but we decided to give it a try on a Monday afternoon. The menu was extensive, and I ordered fish and chips while my companion had a burger. We ordered drinks (water and soda) and extra gravy. Try the steak special. it will feed two and is amazing value. Newly renovated premises ... bright and clean. hamburgers and milkshakes are our regular meal. love them
Out of the 2 burger joints close by, this is the champ from the burgers to the shakes I don't think they can get better. The vanilla shake I had was better than most places that I have eaten and the burger loaded with all the fixings was a mouthful.I'm glad I stopped here to eat for sure i'll be back.
If you're looking for fast, friendly service and great burgers, this is a great little spot! Prices a little high for a burger place but it's real food, not like McDonalds hehehe Recommended!
On our way home August 7th, 2017 from a weekend at a family cottage we were advised to stop here for lunch. I am glad we did. This place is run like a well oiled machine. Though we only saw glimpses of the kitchen staff(food was very good,) the girls up front were GREAT! From the ordering to the dressing and the delivery everything was spot on. Even the girl taking care of the front of the house was amazing! She dealt with everything from the tidiness to ensuring the adult beverages made it to the customers quickly and cold. We will definitely eat here again on our next Lions Head visit.
