The restaurant has a delightful atmosphere and offers a great variety of food and drink. There’s also an impressive selection of games, many of which are perfect for young children and toddlers. They cater well to dietary restrictions, especially for gluten-free diets. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

£2 per person per hour to play board games whilst having a pint and snack. And it's kinda like sitting in your local library. There's nothing wrong with the place, but it didn't really have any atmosphere and felt too sterile to be relaxing. I'm sure many will love it, but I'd prefer a local pub that has board games available for a more relaxing experience.

Amidst Sheffield's bustling dining scene, a unique restaurant invites patrons to enjoy board games alongside delicious food and drinks. With a welcoming atmosphere driven by friendly staff, guests can indulge in a wide range of games, making it a perfect spot for casual gatherings or family outings. The menu boasts a variety of delectable offerings, including vibrant salads and mouthwatering pulled pork bagels. While some visitors noted minor signage issues, the overall experience is enhanced by a lively ambiance, ideally suited for both game enthusiasts and casual diners alike. This venue is quickly becoming a local favorite.

Absolutely amazing! We wished we had booked a longer stay. I can't wait to return. The menu offers a wide variety of food, including vegan and gluten-free options. There are plenty of cold drinks available, including alcoholic beverages. They also provided water for our table, and the selection of games to play is fantastic! The location is very convenient, with street parking nearby and a large parking lot just around the corner. The restrooms were very clean, but I didn't notice any baby changing facilities or accessible restrooms (the ones I used were a flight of stairs down). However, just because I didn't see them doesn't mean they don't exist, so I'll check with them for confirmation. This place definitely needs more merchandise!

I have been here before, but I recently attended the Rainbow Gamer evening and had a wonderful time playing games and meeting new people. The place was quite busy, which contributed to a great atmosphere. Everyone we spoke to among the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed the milkshakes and are looking forward to our next visit!

We had a fantastic time! The portion sizes were enormous, perfect for when you're really hungry. While the menu didn't have much variety, there were plenty of exciting options to choose from. Overall, we truly enjoyed the experience, especially considering the entry fee.

Very beautiful board game café. hot chocolate and coffee are very good. cakes are delicious and they have several species daily. lunch we had pulled a dicksack and it was pretty good to play a bit messy so dont while they eat it. the bathroom was clean and well lit. the selection of the board games was very large and easy to understand. the staff was very attentive and friendly. 1 of the best in Great Britain! comes back. update 20200 22. I've been here a few times. the desserts are fabulous. the personal is helpful. the game selection is constantly growing.

New favourite place. Recently moved back to Sheffield and came here for a date. Excellent choice. Staff were very friendly, and were able to advise us on suitable games to learn and play. They even have a games menu which suggests Starter, Main and Dessert games. Also a good selection of food and drink.

Joined the LGBT gamers night for the first time on Sunday and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Played board games with strangers who were all very welcoming and nice. Some returning folk and some, Like myself, were new. I will be booking a ticket to come again next month if I can. The drinks I had were nice, especially the vanilla milkshake but the nachos were too salty. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love this place. Have visited several times with children in the daytime, and also with adults in the evening. It looks so inviting from the moment you walk in and there's a welcoming laid back vibe. There's so many family friendly games of all levels (full catalogue is on the website and easy to navigate) and the games are in good condition with laminated instructions. The staff are friendly and clearly love board games, they'll recommend games or help with instructions, it comes across really genuine that they enjoy sharing the games with the customers. One time I went and the next table was a group of online friends meeting up for the first time and that sums up the warm positive atmosphere of the place. I don't live in Sheffield but we will make the journey to visit. A few of the 2 person tables are a little small if you want to play a big/heavy game and also eat food. They're plenty big enough for all the smaller games- my advice is if you are booking for 2 people but know you want to play a specific game that takes up a lot of space then call ahead and I'm sure the staff would try to accommodate you on one of the larger tables where possible.
