We visited The Peacock for the first time today, on a bank holiday Monday afternoon, and we absolutely loved everything about it. We ordered the main courses and drinks, all of which were served in a timely manner and were delicious. The pub has a really cozy atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly and attentive—especially Greg, who was working at the bar. He stood out for being particularly friendly, chatty, and cheerful. If you find yourself in the area, we highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be returning next weekend!
We had a lovely meal on Saturday evening to celebrate our little boy's birthday. The waitstaff who served us were incredibly welcoming, and the food was fantastic. My partner said it was the best fish and chips he's had in a long time. While the prices are a bit higher than we usually prefer, it was a special occasion, and we were able to use Tesco Clubcard credits, which made it a better deal. We definitely want to return!
We gathered with friends for our annual Christmas meal at Peacock last night. It’s our favorite place because we know we can always get good vegetarian options. However, last night’s meal from the festive menu was probably the best we’ve ever had at Peacock. From the exquisite nut roast to the burger and the roast beef, everything was outstanding. And we certainly can’t forget the magnificent gingerbread cheesecake! We left as four very satisfied customers. Thank you!
