We took a friend out to celebrate his birthday... very busy for a Friday night but we didn't have a long wait and were seated quite quickly. Friends had spinach artichoke dip & seafood platter and really enjoyed it. We had the haddock & chips... the best I have had in a long time.. light on the batter and lots of fish... my husband had the Dan's larger size and found it almost too much ... Great Service... What User doesn't like about Captain Dan's Seafood Patio Bar:
So hyped to visit this place but a bit of a let down. Fish was super fresh and good so why they would service a top notch seafood with frozen fries????? Disappointing. The fishermens basket was shrimp, scallops, clams and a piece of fish. The shrimp and scallops appeared to be a frozen product too although the shrimp were big and did have taste. View all feedback.
Took 30 mins to receive foodCheese burgers were good but fries were under cooked and water tasted metalicOver priced for what we got.

This was a random stop, but it looked really goodThe was good and very freshWe had the Jumbo Lobster role and the Sea food broil.
We had a great table with a view of the water. I ordered an Asian salad. The waitress warned me they may be out of the dressing and I gave my 2nd choice. When it arrived it looked like a tossed salad- lettuce, 3 large pieces of red onion and a few small red peppers. I asked about the candied pecans. The waitress' response was- if they are not there they are out of it. I stare thinking this is not what I ordered or is it a meal. She finally offers to go check. She comes back to confirm they are out of the pecans. I let her know it is not much of a salad as is. She finally offers to get me something else to put on it. She made excuses that it was so busy the day before (not my problem) Communication could be much better between the kitchen and the wait staff! I should have sent it back but the menu choices are limited. If she apologized I may not have been as annoyed.
Nice restaurant on a wharf offering views of water on both sides. Nice ocean side breeze inside. Food was good and service was excellent.
