Was Anonym at Rupp's a mag?
The food and service were fantastic. I will definitely return. I particularly enjoyed the orange chicken. Our group was large, and everyone was extremely satisfied with their meals. View all feedback.

What Joe Backmann dislikes about Rupp's:
The bar had a lovely ambiance, but the owner and bartender were quite cold and unengaging. The same went for the hostess; she was also distant and unfriendly. The dining room features booths, but if you have a typical Wisconsin build, I'd recommend avoiding them, as they seem designed for skinnier individuals. The food was decent but nothing special. I would strongly advise against paying extra for the bacon cheese b... View all feedback.

This is a really lovely restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. While the decor is somewhat outdated, everything was very clean. I ordered the ribeye steak dinner, which came topped with mushrooms and onions. It also included a cup of clam chowder, rolls, sweet potato waffle fries, and access to the salad bar. The steak was cooked perfectly and was not overly seasoned—truly delicious! The soup and sides were fantastic as well. The service was good, though I did have to request silverware since there wasn't any at the table. Mistakes happen, and I had no other complaints. The bar service was also great; the bartender shared details about their homemade bitters and the preparation process while making our drinks. Additionally, the drink prices were very reasonable.

The dining room features booths, but if you have a typical Wisconsin build, I'd recommend avoiding them, as they seem designed for skinnier individuals. The food was decent but nothing special. I would strongly advise against paying extra for the bacon cheese baked potato; the broiled potato topped with American cheese was disappointing. The service was adequate but not impressive. Overall, I won't be returning, as it simply wasn't worth the money.

This is totally a step back in time! Stepping back to when Supper Clubs ruled the restaurant scene with style, grace, elegance and great food choices! Rupp's is still running strong with this sentiment they embrace and embody the way Super Clubs should be and the way they have historically been. The service is top tier, the staff is fun and entertaining, the food is second to none. This was a great way for us to bring in the New Year, 2024. This is a must stop destination!
